Mr. Sierra owns Hispana Vision in Hartford. He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and graduated high school at George Westinghouse Technical High School. He attended Erie Community College for Opthalic Dispencing where he acquired his license as an Optician, AAS and is licensed to practice in New York, Conneticut and Massachussetts. Mr. Sierra has been a business owner since 1993 and a property owner since 2000. Mr. Sierra has been the Special Services District President since its inception in 2002.
Mr. Rodriguez was born in Hartford Connecticut and has operated El Comerio Restaurant for over 15 years. Luis graduated from Central State University where he majored in Social Work. He has been a Commissioner since 2003.
He was born in Cuba and owns Peerless Travel on Park Street in Hartford and has been a businessman since 1967. Mr. Diego graduated from a business school in Cuba, and then from the University of Bridgeport as an accountant. In addition, he completed certifications in real estate and insurance. Mr. Diego has been serving as a Commissioner in the Special Services District since 2002.
Mr. Gutt has been a property owner for over 30 years in the South Green Neighborhood. He graduated from University of Hartford with a degree in Communications. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps since 1969 to 1971. Mr. Gutt has been a Commissioner since the Special Services District began in 2002.
Mrs. Lopez was born in Honduras, graduated from North Bergen High School in New Jersey and completed a certification in Bookeeping at the Hispanic American Institute of N.Y. She has been a business owner since 1983. Mrs. Lopez has been a Special Services District Commissioner for about 2 years and a property owner since 2002.
Mr. Muñiz was born in Cuba and attended Cheyla High in Gunabo, Cuba. He has been a business owner for more than 10 years and a Park Street Special Service District Commissioner for about 2 years.
Mr. Valinho is property owner on Park Street for over 17 years. Mr. Valinho education includes a BA from Yale University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. He has been a Commissioner since the PSSSD was created in 2002.
Mrs. Wiemer has been a property owner for over 25 years. She went to Wethersfield High School. Graduated Central CT State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and took intensive business and accounting classes. Diane has been a PSSSD Commissioner since 2002.
